REMAKER at Sam Pepys' performance camp
Sam Pepys

Performance coaches use REMAKER to collect trusted data quickly, relying on a portable, reliable and easy-to-use ecosystem. We're proud to be supporting elite coaches like Sam Pepys, who this summer integrated REMAKER into his three-week training camp in Portugal. Here, footballers from several of Europe's top leagues came together with Sam to prepare for the upcoming season.
Testing readiness with jump height
Throughout the camp, REMAKER is being used to assess player performance and provide objective data that supports training decisions. Jump height testing evaluates lower-body power and monitors athlete readiness, giving coaches valuable insights into each player's physical capabilities, and a quick, repeatable way to see how each athlete is responding to the workload as the camp progresses.
Adding velocity to the big lifts
The group is also using Velocity-Based Training (VBT) to measure compound lifts, adding another layer of detail to strength training. By tracking movement velocity, coaches can individualise training loads, monitor fatigue, and ensure athletes are working at the right intensity for their goals. If you're new to the method, our complete guide to velocity-based training covers velocity zones, load-velocity profiling and how to put bar speed to work in your own programme.
A clearer picture, session by session
Combining performance testing with real-time training data gives athletes and coaches a clearer picture of progress as the camp unfolds. Rather than relying solely on subjective feedback, every session is supported by measurable insights that can be tracked over time.
With preparations for the upcoming season still under way, REMAKER continues to provide coaches with the objective data they need to make informed decisions and help athletes perform at their highest level.
